Arts
Our local arts programme connects Zimbabweans with the best of British and international artistic and creative talent to develop events and collaborations which link thousands of artists, organisations and audiences worldwide.
In addition to staging shows and exhibitions, we partner with others on joint arts projects and help develop creative leadership, professional networks and cultural educational programmes worldwide.
Education
The British Council's education work addresses inequality and poverty in Sub-Saharan Africa by sharing access to international best practice, knowledge and innovation, and by providing access to skills and professional development. We currently offer the following programmes and resources as part of our education work:
- Information Centre - we offer information and management-focused resources to meet professional and personal development needs.
- Management Express Forums - our forums provide networking opportunities and are useful for improving leadership skills, professional capacity and business practice.
- British Council Schools Online - join our school partner finding services, access professional development and classroom resources, and find out about funding and events relating to developing your school’s international work.
Exams
The British Council administers numerous exams on behalf of various UK academic and professional institutions including IELTS, Cambridge English, ACCA, CIMA, CIPS and many universities.
